Definition of "Omote no sabaki". Shintaiikudou is not a combative sport. Unless an attack is launched by enemy, it is not necessary to fight in daily life. The reason of those cases would often caused by oneself. But if anything should happen, there must be nothing, you have to protect the body. For that reason, all you have to do is two things. One is "reacting" properly to a motion of a partner, and the second is "processing" properly. They are called "Omote no sabaki" on a shinntaiikudo. We are leading not to being defeated by an enemy in spite of winning. The purpose of Shintaiikudo is to study the soul of the coexistence and co-prosperity mutually which means we regard the partner as a good one in spite of an enemy in daily exercise.
Definition of "Ura no sabaki". We can define illness as being bad health. If only it makes health, illness surely disappears. The conditions of true health need two. one is the quality of blood and the second is good circulation of blood. Then the good conditions of the quality of blood need two, one is making a deep breath and the second is the right eating habits. The good conditions of circulation of blood need two, one is strengthening the skin and the second is fixing muscle and flame. If one is missing at least one from four conditions in which are "breath","meal","skin",and "muscle and flame ", true health cannot be obtained. On the Shintaiikudo, that is called "Ura no sabaki" and the extreme “kenkohou”(the way of fit) is prepared. However the real purpose of Shintaiikudo is not becoming healthy. On the Shintaiikudo, Health is defined as the minimum conditions which don’t put others trouble.
